Premiere	Baudelaire setting alone premiered on Eastman Composers’ Forum, 1994, sung by Hai-Ting Chinn with flautist Rebecca Ashe, marimbist Kristen Tait and cellist Daniel Saenz. The other sonnet, "El Desdichado" by Gérard de Nerval, was not performed.
